The 3V SIGMA Group was founded in Bergamo, Italy in the 1950s under the name SIGMA, then a chemical company specializing in the production of chemicals for the textile industry. Since then, constant innovation, a forward-looking business vision and strong technical know-how have been major factors that have led the company to expand into many other areas.
In the 1980s, 3V faced the exciting challenge of establishing a new manufacturing center in the United States of America and a commercial presence on every continent of the world. The globalization of markets and subsequent economic changes now dictate the need for international business to meet local challenges with a single, strategic platform, improve advanced technologies and provide service with a personal touch. Thus, 3V SIGMA and all its subsidiaries around the world have been united into one corporate group – 3V Group.
In addition to the chemical industry, 3V Group also includes a mechanical branch, 3V Cogeim, which manufactures equipment (reactors, filters, dryers) for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. 3V Glass Coat specializes in the production of glass for a range of reactors. Finally, a focus on environmental issues and a commitment to sustainability led to the founding of the 3V Green Eagle environmental industry, which specializes in the treatment of wastewater and water bodies using the most modern, efficient and affordable technologies.
Today, 3V Group is a consolidated and multinational company with a dynamic structure operating in various industries.
